To Wooster Student and Families:

RE: TUITION REFUND PLAN FOR MEDICAL WITHDRAWAL
With the current level of education costs, we have a concern for the student who suffers a serious illness or accident and has to leave Wooster before the semester is completed. In many instances it means not only the loss of time invested in studies, but also the loss of the semester's cost.

We are pleased to advise you of the Tuition Refund Plan (T.R.P.), an insurance program which will minimize the financial portion of the loss. This elective insurance plan significantly extends and enhances the College's published refund policy. In the event of a medical withdrawal, you are eligible for a 100% refund of the Comprehensive Fee throughout the term, even after the College's policy has expired. Charges for first-time students who receive financial assistance under Title IV will be pro-rated, following satisfactory notice of withdrawal, in accordance with federal regulations. For other students, the chart below illustrates how the T.R.P. complements the College's refund schedule for the Comprehensive Fee in the event of medical/physical withdrawal.

Enrollment in this unique form of protection is voluntary. The premium cost for the Fall Semester appears on the application page. If you wish to purchase this coverage online, please submit your application and payment by the first day of classes, August 24, 2016. Online applications cannot be accepted after this date. Those electing coverage for the Fall Semester will be automatically billed in December for the Spring Semester insurance premium.

In light of our enrollment policy, we invite you to carefully consider its benefits. If you have questions about this plan, please contact A.W.G. Dewar, Inc. at (617) 774-1555.

Sincerely yours,
