Ursinus College

To Our Students and Families:
An Ursinus College education represents a substantial investment for you in both time and money. We want to be certain that you have an opportunity to protect your financial commitment in case of illness or accident that results in your withdrawal from the College before the semester is completed.

Ursinus College is again pleased to endorse the Tuition Refund Plan (TRP). This plan, offered and administered by A.W.G. Dewar of Quincy, Massachusetts, helps protect your educational investment. When combined with the College's published refund/credit policy, reimbursement totaling a minimum of 70% of net tuition paid to the College will be refunded if you are forced to withdraw from school due to a personal illness, mental health condition or accident.

This Plan significantly extends and enhances the College's published refund policy. You are assured of a 70% refund on tuition paid throughout the term even after the College's own refund policy has expired. The chart below illustrates how the TRP complements our own refund schedule for tuition charges (fees and board are still refunded using College’s published refund policy and are not included in this enhancement).

We are providing the Tuition Refund Plan as an option for our students and families. It is an inexpensive form of protection, and we urge that you carefully read the coverage page and consider the advantages. The charge for the Plan is $132.50 for the Spring Term. If you wish to participate in the Tuition Refund Plan online, you must submit the application and payment by the first day of classes. The deadline to enroll for the insurance is January 23, 2019.

If you have any questions about the Tuition Refund Plan, please contact A.W.G. Dewar, Inc. at (617) 774-1555.
