Dear Trinity Parents and Students,

We are concerned for the student who suffers a serious illness or accident and has to leave Trinity College before the semester is completed. In many instances, it means not only the loss of time invested in studies but, due to the current level of educational costs, a significant financial loss.

Trinity College is pleased to offer the Tuition Refund Plan (TRP) for your consideration. This plan, administered by A.W.G. Dewar of Quincy, Massachusetts, protects your educational investment by reimbursing up to 100% of tuition, fees, room and board in the event of a medical withdrawal. In the case of a withdrawal due to a mental health condition, up to 60% of these charges are covered. Refunds may be affected by financial aid award adjustments. This plan significantly extends and enhances the College's published refund policy as published in the College Bulletin. You are assured of a refund throughout the term even after the College's own refund policy has expired.
We strongly encourage you to read the coverage section carefully and assess the planís suitability for you. If you wish to subscribe to the plan online, please fill in the information requested and submit your application and payment prior to September 3, 2013, the first day of classes. Online applications cannot be accepted on or after this day. Students planning to attend a foreign or domestic leave program should contact Dewar for applicable costs.

Questions regarding the plan should be directed to A.W.G. Dewar at (617) 774-1555.

Sincerely,

Dina M. Jorge
